Goodlight Cost Consultants

Helping main contractors protect their margins and lenders protect their loans.

Joseph has worked for contractors, developers and funders, and uses that experience for whichever side he is representing.

For main contractors

Help keeping your projects profitable, from getting the estimate right and preparing tender submissions to subcontractor procurement, valuations, payment notices and variations.

Contractor cost management

For lenders and funders

An initial report before the facility agreement is signed, then a site visit and a report with photographs before each drawdown. For projects up to £5m construction value.

Joseph has spent most of his career on the contractor side, so he knows where a contractor’s figures may be optimistic.

Funder monitoring

Why contractors and lenders work with Goodlight

1 person

One person, start to finish

The person who visits site writes the report and gives the advice. Nothing is passed to a junior.

2 days

Quick reports

Drawdown reports are usually issued within 2 working days of the site visit, so the lender can make its decision on time.

3 sides

Experience on every side

Joseph has worked for contractors, developers and funders, so he understands what drives each of them and uses that for the side he represents.
